Back in the U.S of A

I just got back into the states after being in Australia for 6 months. It was an amazing trip with tons of waves and good times. i met some really amazing people as well. Sorry i haven't been posting that much, its just been hard to get onto a computer while i was traveling.I will do my best to keep you guys up to date. As Luck Would Have It

Turns out the first week the boys leave we get some decent swell. It wasn't to big but it was good to get into some heavier waves. Here is a sequence from Parker Mendenhall from the swell.

Finally got some decent waves out here. There has been numerous claims as to how bad the winter has been here in Australia, and its still probably better than home.(even though Danny B has been claiming out the wazoo waves have been insane back home.) I am trying to find some work out here at the moment to extend my ticket. We will see how it goes but it looks as though I will be staying out here for a bit longer.

We are back down on the southcoast and it feels good to get some decent rest. Our trip up to the goldy was really fun. We met alot of really cool people as well as scored some fun waves. We also had a couple session in between that were good as well. here are a couple more framies from the trip.

Im back in sydney after a road trip up north to the goldy. We drove over 2000 km in the past couple days and none of us have had much sleep.It will be good to rest up. I will post some more framies from up north later, but here are a couple random ones from the past couple weeks.

All in a Day

I Drove up to the Morey office today to get a board and fins, and when i got home i got the new Movement, Thrashed and Chicks. Im pretty excited to say the least.
The new Hubb fins are insanely comfortable with a really soft foot pocket as well as being padded with neoprene.

Matt and i got a group shot in the new Movement. I was so amped the day of the shoot and couldn't be happier with the result. The magazine also comes with FREE COPY OF THRASHED, yet another amazing film from Todd Barnes. The highlight for me would have to be Joe Clarke surfing Canggu.

Robs new film Ring of Fire 2 is set to premiere at the Elks Lodge on June 5. Theres pretty high expectations for the premiere as it has been several years since anyone from california has made a video. Here is the details from Rob......

"After 3 years in the making, Ring of Fire 2 will finally premiere on June 5th in San Clemente, CA!

This highly anticipated bodyboarding video follows California's best riders all around the world as they score amazing waves in: Hawaii, Mexico, Indonesia, Australia, the South Pacific and the Pacific Northwest. It also features footage from California's 2010 season which many people are claiming as the best winter of surf in over a decade.

If the video alone wasn't a good enough reason to come, join us for drinks, raffles, lots of giveaways, and all around good times. Come early to meet the pros and get a seat for one of the best bodyboard videos to ever come out of California.

Doors open at 7pm, and the video starts promptly at 9pm. This event is limited to 250 seats and there is a very high likely hood of more people than that showing up, so make sure you arrive early to ensure that you wont have to stand during the 1.5 hour video presentation.

Additional parking can be found behind the Elks Lodge off of Calle De Los Molinos. Tickets are $10 at the door, and DVD's will be available for sale for only $15. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.
